A Million Little Things - Season 5 'The Farewell Season' announcement
I dont care what anyone says, USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-D is the most beautiful ship in starfleet
Am I the only one who got a little bit misty eyed when we saw this scene of them returning to their beloved Enterprise and Picard calling Commander Riker "Number One" again and saying "make it so"?
One thing I wonder the whole time. Did they re-build the set for this scene, or is this the original set from the 80s?
Ladys and Gentlemen. The beautiful old lady is back❤❤now we are home
Never liked the D… until now
I loved this, it was great seeing the enterprise D back in action so awesome
Sometimes I wish they would have used the enterprise A.
cringe af
"She's got the right name. You remember that, you hear? You treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home."
They made a misstake Data is a Android and he can't age like humans do so the image of mr data is incorrect
have you watch the show? Data old body is destroyed.(remember he gave his life at the end of the last movie) They upload his software into a new body.
So stunning. So happy they got all that crap off the bridge that Generations added in. I don't mind Generations or First Contact, but with the poker game, I am actually happy enough to pretend none of the TNG movies occurred.
How did the Android get old and fat?
Wait, what? Wasnt this ship destroyed?
Picard Maneuver followed by classic line
Just brings happy tears to my eyes
I CAN'T WATCH THIS SCENE ENOUGH
Love this scene. Made the hairs on my neck stick up 🥹
“Let’s see what this Galaxy-class starship can do.”
It’s like watching a legendary band take the stage one more time, warming up their instruments, doing a sound check, and then taking the mic. This was my Star Trek as a child of the 90s and this reunion scene with the old bridge couldn’t have been done any better.
wow.... makes one teary eyed...
McFadden and Sirtis have had some wicked plastic surgery.
I swear Patrick Stewart bounced back to life in this episode. That “engage” had some umph behind it he’s been missing since the series.
This is my star trek make it so
Is it strange that my favourite thing about this clip is the LCARS system turning on in a way that could never have been depicted back in 80s/90s? With each of the buttons coming on in their own time?
If you watch Data's consule, a button lights up once the D has cleared Spacedock's doors. I imagine offering warp speed. Such attention to detail.
"How can there be a yellow alert in space dock?" "Sir, someone is stealing the Enterprise!" Eh...that wasn't the configuration the bridge was in when last we saw her, but who cares? This was a brilliant call-back and very well used.
I was 22 when TNG premiered. So in a sense, I grew up with this crew and this ship. And I just streamed the 3rd season and the wave of emotion and nostalgia had me weeping like 3 year old kid. It hit me that like the cast, I too have aged. And even though it’s just a TV show, it was in the background during some of the best and worst times of my life. And all I can express is… gratitude for being able to watch some very cool stories be told by a very talented cast… Thank You.
Now THIS Disney, is how you honor a beloved franchise!❤
We are the crew
I love how Riker says “we’re your family”. Those final two episodes smashed down the fourth wall and I loved it. They weren’t just talking to each other, they were speaking directly to their fans. That final scene where Picard, Geordi and Riker are talking amount the Enterprise. They were speaking as the actors, not the characters. Just imagine how different a lot of us and them would have been without the Big E and her valiant crew? This is what happens when you put a fan in charge of the show. He caters to the fans turned it into a multi billion dollar franchise. Kurtzman should have taken some lessons
the music in that scene is perfect!!!
Can you imagine if Worf was on the Defiant and Janeway appeared with her old crew on Voyager alongside the Galaxy class. I think that would've killed me
This makes me ugly cry every time I see it😭😭😭🥹🥹🤧
Most amazing moment in star trek for many years.
1.9 MILLION VIEWS says we all still believe in hope. Follow our crews lead, have courage and boldy go forward. ENGAGE!
I've got to say... this scene still hits hard. Those last two episodes of PICARD were amazing, it was like coming home to somewhere you hadn't even realised you'd been missing. The D is the greatest of the starships _Enterprise_ and I'm so glad we finally got to see her have the final mission she always deserved.
"Engage!"......goosebump moment
The Goosebumps you get when Geordi says, "You're looking at the last functional ship in the fleet not tied to the system" gives me goosebumps every time.
Ahh. Nostalgia.
Shame it took "Picard" until the third season to deliver what the fans always wanted-a respectful, final journey for Picard and the TNG crew. Nobody wanted bleak, nihilistic visions of Starfleet. Nobody wanted weak, undeveloped characters and the deconstruction and humiliation of existing legacy ones. Nobody wanted modern-day political angst inserted into their futuristic scifi series. The key to success was simple, yet the hubris of the showrunners wouldn't let them see it.
Blame it a bit on Patrick Stewart. To be fair it is understandable that he wanted to do something different (and the intention of Season 1 I can understand even though they didn't stick with the landing). And it was due to remembering how much fun he had with Frakes, Sirtis, Spiner, Goldberg and DeLancie that he was willing to have the entire original command crew return for the final season.
If season 1 of Picard was in part about righting the wrongs of Data's stupid death in Nemesis, then S3 was in part about righting the wrongs of the even more stupid death of the Enterprise-D in Generations.
S3 pretty much absolved every sin Generations committed…..Jean-Luc was no longer the end of the Picard family line…..Jim Kirk is now in stasis at Daystrom Station, and of course…..this beautiful sequence here.
Many forget that Dr. Crusher once captained a starship So, she knows what to do.
Why not the original TOS theme? To many of us, that's Star Trek. No, it's not perfect. Neither is TNG.
I might have been the only person hoping they would steal the Enterprise A
I was hoping for Voyager.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there, you can make a difference.
Brought a tear to me eye...
Welcome home crew welcome home
So why, exactly, did Data get old?
Just do yourself a favour and watch season 3. You won't regret it
This is where they belong! Never liked the Enterprise E! Happy to see it back!
Powering up the Enterprise is how I feel when I turn on a computer with Windows 3.11.
Emotional, and we go also Engage
